Virtual Event Virtual Event

Judaism and LGBTQ+ Identity with Rabbi Eger

June 16 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Virtual Event Virtual Event

Join Rabbi Eger as she teaches us how to use Jewish sacred texts to advocate for substantive change in Judaism toward LGBTQ+ inclusion and celebration.

In this session, Rabbi Eger will address critical questions like:

  • What do our core Jewish texts say about LGBTQ+ love and relationships?
  • How has religion historically been weaponized against queer people?
  • Why does it matter?
  • Is there space for queer Jews in Judaism?
  • How do we practice concepts like Btzelem Elohim or seeing G-D in each of us?
  • What does it mean to actualize social justice in today’s world?
