About the speakers:
- Rom Ohayon: IGY Co-CEO, longtime LGBTQ+ and human rights activist and a proud Mizrachi Jew. Fighting to create a future for LGBTQ’s, women and marginalized groups in post Oct 7 Israel.
- Oraib Awad: Clinical social worker, head of “Alwan”, IGY’s activity for Arab LGBTQ’s. While dealing with challenges within both Israeli and Arab communities- Oraib is leading life-saving responses and insisting on a shared future.
- Jessica Van De Rovart: Inspiring activist to Transgender rights, with focus on Trans women in sex work. With an incredible life story, Jessica is a leading educator at IGY’s vocational college for at-risk LGBTQ’s, fighting discrimination and poverty among LGBTQ’s in Israel.
