Year End Giving: Help Us #BuildtheBridge to Unity

Read our message from Chair of the Board Alan Schwartz:

“This holiday season is a time for gratitude, and a time for hope.

Personally, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead an organization as vital as A Wider Bridge. My gratitude extends to the thousands of North Americans — LGBTQ and allies, Jews and non-Jews alike — who have come together with A Wider Bridge to support our friends in Israel’s diverse LGBTQ communities in their daily struggles for dignity and equality.

Even in these dark days when the challenges to equality both in Israel, and here in the United States, can seem overwhelming, I am inspired with hope. Hope that by working together, we will never let antisemitism, anti-Zionism, homophobia, or transphobia go unchallenged. I’m confident that by speaking out and telling our stories, we will one day prevail against the forces of hate.

Like the Maccabees in the Hanukkah story, we’ll refuse to let go of our ideals despite what can seem like overwhelming odds. And like the generations who have celebrated the holiday ever since, we will light the flames of hope against the darkness that surrounds us.”

We are passionate about this work, and we know you are too, which is why we can only do it with your support and partnership. This holiday season, we are asking you to help us reach our $40,000 end-of-year goal.

Please make your end-of-year gift today so that we can #BuildABridge to unity!

Thank you and happy holidays!
