Whether you like femmes, butches, dykes, gender queers, or lipstick lesbians, Tel Aviv’s diverse lesbian community has it ALL. Gorgeous lesbians indulge on our beaches, hang in our clubs and turn heads on the street.

“Barvaz” is a new lesbian bar in the young and hip Florentin neighborhood and it’s open every night. On Mondays visit the SevenEleven, another popular hangout which is open between 7pm-11pm at the Gilda bar 64 A’had Ha’am St. Every Wednesday Tel aviv’s women take over the Shpagat gay bar in 43 Nachalat Binyamin St. for a night of culture and hot music.

Through the rest of the week, there’s a different party every night at a new club. Moving the scene around this way keeps it fresh, and as the promoters try to top each other, the nights keep getting hotter and hotter. The Gay Center at Meir Park is always hosting new and intersting lesbian-themed events, such as lectures, sports groups, and potluck picnics. The asjacent cafe is one of Tel Aviv’s best spots for scoping the view.Many more restaurants, cafes and bars that arelesbian-owned like Jos ve Loz, Cafe Sheleg, Albi, and Beta & Gariga. The Old City of Jaffa in southern Tel Aviv is another great spot – a vast daytime flea market gives way at night to a string of hip bars and restaurants.

LGBT families meet on the last Saturday of every month for children’s activities, which range from arts and crafts in winter to outdoor picnics or parties in summer.

Women who enjoy sports will love the popular beach volleyball courts, as well as nighttime pool tournaments held inside a few of the bars. Tel Aviv is friendly to cyclists, and the many bike rental shops as well as the new bike rental machines in the Yarkon Park make it easy for tourists to join the fun. Bikes are now available for rent at Hayarkon Park, There is a dedicated surfing scene next to Hilton Beach, and beautiful hiking trails populate the more mountainous region north of the city.
