This summer has presented numerous challenges for the LGBTQ and Jewish communities of North America and Israel. Several Jewish women, including Laurie Grauer, were banned from the Chicago Dyke March for carrying Jewish Pride Flags. President Trump banned transgender military service. Would-be same-Sex families in Israel struggle for access to adoption. White supremacists march in Charlottesville and beyond. Now more than ever, we need to explore ways of bringing our communities together.
