Rivlin on Tuesday met at his Jerusalem residence with the delegation of US Jewish LGBT community that are currently participating in the Jewish Federations of North America’s LGBT Mission to Israel.

“Twenty-three years ago, I had the honor to welcome the first delegation of the Israeli gay community to the Knesset. One year ago, after being elected as president I had the honor to welcome the first delegation of the Israeli gay community to the President’s Residence. And today I have the honor to welcome all of you from across the USA,” Rivlin said.
Stuart Kurlander, one of the delegation’s members who has been a leading figure in the JFNA and LGBT community said: “We look forward to your continued advocacy for equality and tolerance.
