A Wider Bridge is pleased to announce our first-ever community fundraiser, A Wider Brunch, on Sunday, October 18 at the San Francisco Jewish Community Center. We are celebrating five years of our work at building LGBT engagement with Israel, and our growth from a Bay Area start-up to a national organization. We will honor two outstanding community leaders for their commitment to LGBT equality and pro-Israel advocacy: Dr. Anita Friedman, Executive Director of Jewish Family and Children’s Services, and Rabbi Doug Kahn, Executive Director of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Jewish Community Relations Council.

Our program will also feature two noted LGBT leaders from Israel, Anat Nir and Zehorit Sorek, and a performance of gay Israeli singer Ido Politi.

The event will be live streamed so our friends and allies across North America, in Israel, and around the world can participate in our celebration of five years of A Wider Bridge.

HONORING DR. ANITA FRIEDMAN AND RABBI DOUG KAHN

As a good warm-up before our Wider Brunch Live that takes place in San Francisco next week, A Wider Bridge goes back a few months ago and happily present to you a gallery from 40 Years of Pride, the first-ever global LGBTQ leadership conference in Tel Aviv that we held this June. Experience the conference through photos!
