Join us for a moderated interview with NIF Law Fellow Reut Cohen, followed by Q & A and a brief reception. Monday, April 28 at 7:00 pm at Temple De Hirsch Sinai, 1441 16th Avenue, Capitol Hillcampus, Seattle.
Reut Cohen is an aspiring Israeli civil rights attorney and a veteran activist for equality in her home town of Haifa. Reut’s journey from citizen to student activist to young social protest leader and now civil rights litigator opens a window into the struggles and victories of democracy in one of Israel’s most diverse cities. Her activism spans feminism in Hebrew pop culture, public funding for anti-homophobia education, Jewish-Arab equality, and social justice for all Israelis.
This event is co-sponosred by Kavana and Temple De Hirsch Sinai.
