SUMMARY:Pride Safety Training for Jewish and/or LGBTQ Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Join A Wider Bridge and Secure Community Network (SCN) for a training to empower Jews attending Pride and other large gatherings this summer. This 50 minute training will cover situational awareness\, practical safety strategies and general advice for how to stay safe. Participants will also learn from Director of Community\, Safety and Belonging about why LGBTQ Jews should show up safely at Pride this year. \nOur trainer from SCN is a CSI-NY Regional Director of Manhattan and Staten Island\, Terry Byrne. Terry is a retired Lieutenant Commander of the NYPD in the Intelligence Division. \nThese training programs are designed to create a culture of security awareness and preparedness throughout the Jewish community. In crisis situations\, people tend not to rise to the occasion but to fall back on their level of training. By attending this training\, you are empowering yourself and your community to take safety and security into your own hands. \nRegister for the 12:00 PM (Eastern) session\nRegister for the 7:00 PM (Eastern) session
