More coverage from Adam Lambert’s recent Israel visit- and his performance in Tel Aviv with Queen
When someone mentions the eighth season of American Idol, a few names may pop up in your head but then when there’re mentions of “Ghost Town”, it becomes clear as the water which we are talking about. Yes, we are talking about the American singer and songwriter and the runner-up of the eight season of American Idol, Adam Lambert.
The fans at Israel of the imminent classic rockers Queen have been patiently anticipated their presence since the last two decades and were finally able to see a live performance and all thanks to Adam Lambert. They finally did their Tel Aviv concert on September 12, 2016, and the audience was nothing but ecstatic and excited.
It has always been praised how the band never gave up on their journey and kept up even as a two piece with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor before they finally included Adam as their lead vocalist. Although it is never possible to physically replace Freddie Mercury, Lambert has done a pretty great job portraying and holding up a Freddie-like demeanour on-stage.
While every fan was happy and walked out content, Lambert took to this to take a quick trip to the beautiful place around. He shared some pictures on his Instagram from his short recreational trip which included bit places of Jerusalem and even a few moments of prayer at the Western Hall. He even visited the Entrance to Jesus’ Tomb.
