A Wider Bridge is proud to be collaborating with JFNA on developing the LGBTQ portions of the itinerary for the May 2016 Israel Mission trip.
A trip to Israel for LGBTQ people from across the United States and Canada has been scheduled from May 26 to June 2, 2016.
The trip, which will take place during Tel Aviv Pride Week, will include four nights in Tel Aviv and three in Jerusalem. Organized by the Jewish Federations of North America, the itinerary will include meetings with LGBTQ politicians and business leaders and sessions on LGBTQ rights in Israel.
Locally, the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation is inviting people to sign up for the Bay Area contingent. Chair Sam Goldman notes that an “early-bird registration special with a reduced deposit of $500” is being offered until Dec. 15.
For information about costs and itinerary and extending the trip to include the Tel Aviv Pride Parade, visit http://www.jewishfederations.org/lgbtqmission.
UPDATE: A Wider Bridge is proud to be collaborating with JFNA on developing the LGBTQ portions of the itinerary for the trip. We are working together to ensure that trip participants get to meet the very best of what Israeli LGBTQ society has to offer.
A Wider Bridge’s Executive Director Arthur Slepian is proud to be serving on the Executive Leadership Team for the Mission, and both Arthur and A Wider Bridge’s Director of Programs and Development Tyler Gregory will be on the trip and helping to lead and moderate various sessions along the way.
