Israel Hofsheet is a grassroots movement that strives for an Israeli society that practices cultural and religious pluralism, protects civil rights, and upholds the principles of democracy and Zionism as put forth in the Declaration of Independence.
Since it’s founding in 2009, Israel Hofsheet has been leading many substantial campaigns. Many have been in the realm of freedom of marriage, segregation of women, LGBT rights, and other local struggles against religious coercion and towards pluralism.
Israel Hofsheet works by applying public pressure to decision makers both on the local and national scales in order to promote a free Israeli society. The organization works in several spheres: social media, traditional media, the street, panels, and distinctive public events and conferences.
