Next Thursday, May 11, singer Imri Ziv will go on stage in Kyiv, Ukraine, to represent Israel with the song “I Feel Alive” at the Eurovision Semi Final.
Ziv, will be the last song – song number 18 – in the running order of the show, held his first rehearsal yesterday on the Ukrainian stage. Out of 18 songs in the semi-final, 10 will continue to the Eurovision final that takes place Saturday, May 13, and will be broadcasted live in the U.S. on Logo channel.
Imri says that the first rehearsal was good, and promises: “will only get better.”
In order to make sure he can dance and still sound amazing, Imri told Eurovision website “I have been singing whilst running on the treadmill.”
Israel’s representative has prepared energetic choreography for the Eurovision Song Contest, together with choreographer Michal Shay, who he has worked with over the past few months.
“We prepared something very nice, simple and classy. We’re making a party on stage,” Imri said.
