STORYLINE

Five women and a (gay) man, who all live in the same building and get together every year to watch the “Universong” competition (A parody of Eurovision, if that is not an oxymoron). The evening takes a dramatic turn when Anat (one of the women) tells her friends that her husband has moved out. Her friends make up a love song and sing it to her to encourage her. Meanwhile, Ofer, one of the neighbors, sends the song without the girls knowledge to the committee that chooses the songs for the “Universong”. This leads them to the competition in Paris. On the way they will encounter many obstacles while dealing with stylists, agents and all of the trappings of this new world they have found themselves in. Along the way, they learn some important lessons about themselves, family and friendship.
