Creating Change Shabbat Service and Reception with Jerusalem Open House

Join Creating Change participants and the Chicago LGBT Jewish community for a service led by local clergy, including Rabbi Ari Moffic of Interfaith Family Chicago, Rabbi Menchem Cohen of Mitziut, and Rabbi Shoshanah Conover of Temple Sholom of Chicago and Cantorial Soloist Judith Golden from Congregation Or Chadash. Prayer books will be on loan from Mishkan Chicago and Congregation Or Chadash.

Join A Wider Bridge, the LGBT Jewish community, and alumni of the A Wider Bridge LGBTQ Israel Mission following the services for drinks and hors d’eouvers as the leaders of Jerusalem Open House discuss the important work of the organization, creating a more inclusive environment for LGBTQ people in Jerusalem, and share the progress and struggles of the community since the tragic loss at Jerusalem Pride this past summer.
