Gay Jewish State Senators Scott Wiener and Mark Leno To Speak at A Wider Brunch

California State Senator Scott Wiener and Former State Senator Mark Leno will be speaking at A Wider Brunch.  This is a terrific opportunity to hear these two distinguished politicians speak about their work and connections to Israel.

Openly gay Jewish politicians Senator Scott Wiener and former senator Mark Leno have long been supportive of Israel and LGBTQ issues. The both serve on  the thriving California Legislative Jewish Caucus, an organization which champions support for Israel.

A member of the California Legislative LGBT Caucus, Leno was the first openly gay man elected to the State Senate. As a legislator, he authored hundreds of bills dealing with everything from prison reform and consumer safety to protecting bees.

Scott Wiener is a huge advocate of LGBTQ issues from protecting seniors to Fighting anti-LGBT Hate Laws, to helping at-risk queer youth.  The former city supervisor served in the state Assembly from 2002 to 2008 before winning his Senate seat.

We welcome them to A Wider Brunch!  This event is hosted by Gay Jewish Writer and Comedian H. Alan Scott, and pays tribute to A Wider Bridge Founder and Executive Director Arthur Slepian. You can purchase your tickets here.
